Description

The “Research article/portrait” content type is intended for more popular science-type content. This template makes it easy for editors to create stylish magazine-like pages. The template has the same appearance as the news article template, allowing text and images to be combined freely. It will also be possible to add a fact box at the bottom of the page.

This content type can be created by both web editors and content editors.

Do as follows:

  1. To create a Research article/portrait page, switch to the “Content” tab in the top left.
  2. Click the “Research article/portrait” link.
  3. Click the “+ Add research article/portrait” button.
  4. Language
Swedish is the default language version, although you can also choose to create an English version of your page first by selecting “English” from the drop-down list in the “Language” field.
  5. Heading
Enter the news article heading in the “Heading” field (required).
  6. Introduction
Write an introduction, a shorter summary of the news article, in the “Introduction” field (required). Feel free to copy the introduction from the body text of the news article.
  7. Body text
Add the complete body copy to the “Body text” field. You can also add subheadings, links, lists, images, video clips and tables. Feel free to format the text to make the page easier to read.
  8. Category
Under “Category”, choose one or more categories applicable to your news article (required).
  9. Header image/video
The “Header image/video” tab allows you to add a header image or a header video at the top of the page.
    Video cover
Add an image to be used as a cover image for the video before it’s played in the “Video cover” field (required). Click the grey “Open image library” button. See the instructions under 8a.
    1. Header image
Click the grey “Open image library” button.
      1. You can now choose one of the links: “Space image” (pre-selected), “Shared image library” or “Upload new image”.
      2. Select image
To select a previously uploaded image, click the image (green checkmark) and then the blue “Select image” button in the lower left.
      3. Alt text and Image text
Once you’ve chosen an image, you need to complete the “Alt text” field (required) and the image text for the image in the “Image text” field. Images which are purely decorative or carry no information are not, however, to have an alt text, so enter <none> in the text field.
    2. Header video
Click the grey “Add Video” button. If you’ve added both a header image and a header video, the video will be shown.

      1. Title
Enter the video title in the “Title” field (required).
      2. Video URL
Paste a link from, for example, YouTube, Vimeo or GU Play in the “Video URL” field (required).
      3. Video length
Enter the length of the video in the “Video length” field (required).
      4. Video cover
Add an image to be used as a cover image for the video before it’s played in the “Video cover” field (required). Click the grey “Open image library” button. See the instructions under 8a
      5. Create video

The “Related content” tab allows you to add up to 5 promos to help visitors to find information related to the news article.
    1. Click the grey “Add promo” button to add related content.
