Welcome!

Here you’ll find instructions for working with the content management system (CMS) Drupal, which is the university’s shared tool for the external website. Drupal is an open source system which has been adapted to match the university’s preferences and needs. The university uses Drupal 8. On these pages you’ll find instructions, information about permissions and details of the concept behind the new website, which is to be launched in June 2020.

Guidelines, policies and information about accessibility and legal requirements can be found on the CMS pages of the staff portal.

Permissions and roles

In 2018, a new editorial organisation was established for the University of Gothenburg’s external website. The permissions in Drupal reflect the editorial roles of content editor and web editor.
