Information that you can add or update yourself

  1. In the First name and Last name fields , - if you who are not employed can change at GU, you can edit information about your name here. If you are employed, you change the edit information about your name in Primula.

  2. Select one or more countries from the Citizenship list. This is voluntary optional information used at an aggregate level to track GU's degree level of internationalization. Please note that citizenship is not displayed on the web.

  3. Click, Upload, in the Image box, to upload a new photo of yourself and Delete to delete a an uploaded photo.

    • The image photo must be in jpeg / jpg format and can be cropped during upload. Avoid close-ups and feel free to have air around the portrait - especially at the top - as the first search results under "Find person" on gu.se show profile pictures in a small format with a round frame.

  4. Click Upload next to CV Résumé, to upload a new CV/résumé, and click Delete to delete.

  5. In the Cover letter section, you can enter a presentation of what you your work with and any previous work experience. The description is stated in both should be filled out both in Swedish and English version so that it can be displayed correctly for those who read it with in different language settings, for example on gu.se.

    • Under the fields for your personal description, there are fields for Competence, which where you can fill in enter information about competence areas (in both Swedish and English). Here you can enter different competencies and competence areas. Please note that Competence this information is not currently displayed on the web.

  6. Under External Web Pages and Profiles, you can enter information that creates links to your external research profiles and the likerelevant web pages, such as ResearchGate, Google Scholar, Orcid, Twitter, etc. Please note that this information is not currently displayed on the web.

    • Select the type of profile or website , under Social network.

    • Enter your profile name or identity in the Profile Name or ID field.

    • A generated URL is displayed when When you have filled in out the information above, a generated URL is displayed where you can check that the link is correct.
